At the end of the month all that’s usually left in my cupboard is cheese and bread. Personally I have no problem with this as I can live on toast. But my boyfriend, being the creative creature that he is, turned these simple ingredients into a gourmet snack within minutes!
What we used:
Laughing cow cream cheese (those little lunch box triangles)
He cut the bread into triangles slightly larger than the cream cheese.
Then sandwiched the cream cheese between two triangles.
Grated cheese on top and sprinkled some herbs.
Lastly the sandwiches are grilled in the oven until all the cheese melts and the bread goes toasty.
This simple snack made me feel so spoiled, just because it was a new twist on my boring staple!
